The Narrows Bridge - two spans joining Gig Harbor with Tacoma. From the viewing park you get a great view of Mt Rainier sitting behind Tacoma and University Place.

July 15, 2007 was the opening date for the second bridge. Everyone was welcome to walk and check out the new bridge. So many people enjoyed this historic day. For those of us that commute using Hwy 16, this span gave us at least an hour back of our lives a day - no more sitting in traffic!
