Why I joined Homes for Heroes?

Real estate has always been more than just selling homes for me. I am constantly trying to improve my knowledge and service, while striving to be unique in my marketing and business practice.

Because we all have equal access to the internet for exposure, I knew there was a better way to serve my clients than the traditional firm. Last year I joined my Dad at his company of over 40 years determined to offer more to the people of Gig Harbor and the Kitsap Peninsula. Homes for Heroes couldn't have been a better fit to help me accomplish that goal.

More about Heidi...

I started selling real estate after traveling the world for 18 years as a Director, Choreographer and Performer in Disney on Ice.  My roots are in Gig Harbor and University Place though, where I spent all of my childhood.  Before becoming a REALTOR, I also received my BA in Communications from the University of Washington, graduating Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.  I continue to educate myself in real estate, completing the requirements for the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) in 2005, Certified Sales Professional (CSP) in 2006, Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) in 2007 and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) in 2009.

My niche is new construction and has been since 2003 so I would amend that to say new or newer homes. I spend time researching and keep up with the inventory of builders, watching for trends in our communities so I can analyze market conditions for my clients. 

Relocation is my other area of focus.  Whether you are moving from New York, Korea or a mile down the road, I am experienced in making the transition smooth.  As an Accredited Buyer's Representative, I hold a designation that is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. 

In what many call a tough market, I have received sales achievement awards from the Tacoma - Pierce County Association of Realtors for 2007and 2008.  

I also have been selected as a 2009 FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Real Estate Agent- only given to the top 7% rated agents in our area. I received this award in 2005 and 2006 as well.
